“Here’s the problem with Trump,” Hegseth said in an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s show that night. “He says, ‘Go ahead and kill the family. Go ahead and torture. Go ahead and go further than waterboarding.’”

“What happens when people follow those orders, or don’t follow them? It’s not clear that Donald Trump will have their back,” Hegseth added.

“Donald Trump is oftentimes about Donald Trump. And so you can’t; if you’re not changing the law and you’re just saying it, you create even more ambiguity.”

His fate is sealed. Nothing he can do about it except continue until he uses the pardon-card.

he warned us then cashed in later. don’t act shocked he’s singing a new tune with a cabinet seat on the line

  4. He warned that Trump could make the wrong decision. He changed his tune when he was making the war crime decision for him. Rules for thee not for me!

  5. Vance called Trump America’s Hitler and now he is the VP. Kegsbreath has a lot of problems but this ancient comment aint one.

A warning, maybe but it reads more like “DT gave the order to kill, torture etc, sweet, but will he have my back when I obey those orders once the legality of said orders comes into question?”

The answer of course is, you’ll be thrown under the bus.

  8. convenient how principle bends when power’s in reach. guess some warnings were just campaign confetti
