That definitely sucks.
As someone who has taken a partner from the starting line to citizenship, it’s a very long and arduous process with infinite paperwork, uncomfortable interviews, and LOTS of waiting with no updates. Not to mention the necessary fees you have to pay.
These people are doing what is required, and worked hard to get to that point. And in doing so likely know more about America then many born here. I guess it has come to the point where what is engraved on the Statue of Liberty has become meaningless ,because of cruel, stupid, and racist people who appear to want to destroy what America used to stand for, and be proud of.
For Republicans, it was never about “doing it the right way”. It was always about racism.
This is how we know it’s racism, and not whether they came here “the right way.”
The. Cruelty. Is. The. Point.

What a shitty way to do it – this is the cashier just walking away from the checkout instead of putting a sign at the end of the line so no new people get in. And people have already paid and have been waiting for quite a while, they just didn’t get their printed receipt.

I don’t understand how hard it is for people to get it through their thick skulls. Conservatives DO NOT want migration, illegal or legal, from anyone NOT white. It’s why he’s going around calling POCs trash. It’s always been about white nationalism. He’s berating Europe for “losing their identity to migrants”. He’s complained about how he wants the US to get more Nordic migrants. Also, recall that he’s only allowing white South Africans to claim refugee status.
these folks by definition have done things the right and legal way. this needs to be a bigger story than it is so far.
It’s not about doing it the right way, for Trump it’s about the “right” people. That means white people from western societies. You know this, I know this…shit everyone knows this. Trump has made it pretty damn clear that if you are not white he doesn’t want you immigrating into the USA. Even if you are white it’s still dependent on what kind of “white” you happen to be.
Just think of all the morons out there that claimed, “they are only going after illegals”. So even the people who do the process, go through things legally, and they still end up being targeted.
Said it before and will continue to say it, droopy trump supporters are truly some of the most gullible and idiotic people out there. At this point you are either truly logically or flat out evil/greedy.
This alone would make anyone in my family never vote for a republican, period.
