The only good part of this year is when I immediately threw the flag after Trumps inauguration. You know the one in which the worlds richest man used 2 heil hitlers broadcasted to the free world and ushered in a new phase of nazi ideology. Which is a very loose definition to attack their political opposition and to round up anyone who they classify as anti American, despite the constitution protecting citizens from these very things. Greatest thing about the united states is our constitution protects us. You can hate the US and our government and you still have the freedom/right to live here without prosecution.. The United States has been restricting immigration in a similar fashion for at least 100+ years. It goes back to the Chinese exclusion act in the 1880’s or 1870’s, and it seems like there’s this persistent thread of nativism in our immigration policy that comes and goes. It has been clear to anyone who’s looking that Trump shares these views. You could tell he was a racist, xenophobe based on his reaction to the central five jogger incident in the 80’s or 90’s, and the people that voted for him or voted for others knowing it would help Trump are okay with it all.
