He said he wasn’t completely sold on Trump even when he voted for him but had hoped Trump would come back to the White House with more experience after the “learning curve” of his first term.

Trump repeatedly made very clear who he was through words and actions. People voted for Trump because they thought he’d hurt other people for their benefit. They never thought he’d hurt them too.
It doesn’t really matter what Trump voters regret about voting for him. It’s too late. Trump is still going to be the President for the next 3 years. Just imagine how much they’re going to regret their decision by the time Nov. 2028 rolls around?

Trump is aggressively opposed to things people dislike. Trump doesn’t spend time with solutions or policies. Trump focuses on what he thinks is wrong. It is easier to get agreement about what’s wrong than agreement on solutions.
Someone like Trump will always be compelling when they are out of power but controversial and disliked while in power.
Just your daily reminder that the people upset with Trump are not suddenly on your side. They will still vote for another Republican if given the chance they just aren’t happy with how their current Republican is behaving.

Never should have happened. The lawsuits should have started right after Biden took office, not years later. They knew what his tactic would be. Delay delay delay. Even then, forget about trying to make an airtight case against him. It was a no-brainer he took classified docs to maralago., and was complicit in an insurrection.
It shouldn’t have taken more than a month to gather enough evidence to indict him with a grand jury.
