  1. It’s not almost, it will be thorough. You can’t put millions through so much difficulty and expect them not to push back. The defeat will be very sound, and will ensure it will be a long time before Republicans can hurt anyone in these United States again

  2. too bad their voters will still get rewarded with all the promises the dems make during the elections.

even when they lose they win in our system

  3. My fear is that a midterm win for democrats could mean another Republican win in ‘24. Our people aren’t great at understanding cause and effect.

  4. This feels like internal panic, not confidence.
If your own party chair is worrying publicly, that’s a leadership problem.

  5. Creating a fascist state, economc ruin, and killing people because they cannot afford healthcare might just be the kind of policies that not too many people want. Still, about 30 percent will still vote for anyone with an R next to their name regardless of the cause and effect of those policies.

“So you don’t need to worry about defeating us, the cats in the bag like it was in 2024! 😁”

  7. Because you all bent the knee to a fascist. Your party is now a fascist regime. Congrats winning back the voters with a brain and a heart (I know it seems like a low number now). People are starving and the republicans have all the power. Time to reap what you’ve sown.

  8. Nah. They will fire up the billionaire media propaganda apparatus in the spring and convince everyone that since they are doing fine everyone else is too.

Well we are $38 trillion in debt and none of it went to improve education, affordability, healthcare, or housing. It all went to billionaires, millionaires, contractors, and aiding Israel’s genocide. Anyone who runs even a decent economic populist platform will win handily.

  10. They knew they’d lose the midterms which is why they set a lot of cuts and other BS to happen after the midterms. That way people will blame the dems or at least that’s their hope.

  11. Yeah media outlets all pushed Trump’s “certain defeat” in 2024. And we all know they wanted Trump to win. Regardless of the data behind it, that’s a tactic to keep you from voting.

  12. OptimusSublime on

…. So we’re doing everything to make sure that doesn’t happen by any means necessary.

  13. Republicans openly despise nearly every person and institution in the country and wonder why they’re unpopular.

Fuck yeah you do, you guys are fucked, then it’s off to jail or hell, depending on how you wanna be.

Never ever ever underestimate the DNC’s ability to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.

The majority of folks thought a Harris win was locked up. Don’t make that mistake a 2nd time. November is still a long ways off.

Also, fuck Mike Johnson. Hopefully MTG pulls some shenanigans before she exits and costs him his job. I’m not betting on it, but it’s a nice thought.

The combination of presidency, GOP legialature, Project 2025 and SCOTUS has done the exact opposite of what they planned. I will never trust a Republican and its anecdotal but I am seeing many people who were never political before are watching all of this in horror and will now make sure to educate themselves about what is happening around them politically: local, state and national.

This shitstorm of corruption has truly woken the masses.

The Trump train is headed for a cliff. It’s run out of tracks and even his followers are starting to bail because MAGA has no solutions, it only invents new problems to dupe it’s idiotic supporters.

Unless they cheat with the help of their billionaire donors. We need to be prepared for how we respond if that happens.

Why is this a surprise , the last time a president was able to keep control of the house during mid term elections was Bush Jr after 911. The time before that was Jimmy Carter after Watergate. It would be unusual to say the least if Trump was able to keep control of the house.

  20. This is all a cover between now and November they’ll talk about how it’s certain defeat oh they have no chance of winning. So that when they’ve jerry-rigged an outright stolen the election they can talk about what a major turnaround they have how popular Trump is blah blah blah

  21. Their mentioning it so as to raise the urgency of the steps they’ll take to **ensure** they don’t lose… If you know what I mean…

  22. “Almost certain” because everyone knows dems are world class level of stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

  23. DifficultDefiant808 on

The only word I disagree with him using is the “Almost” certain defeat. Lets word it with the more accurate wording . “The GOP” will lose the Midterms” thanks to their Pedophile boss.

I can’t image they care. The fix is in for the majority of the party. Conservative sycophants are buying up all the news outlets, trumps tax bill will cement the 99% as fuel for the 1% billionaires at least for an election cycle or two. GOP losing congress will just raise the chances of Trump going to jail, which given the broader context could be a feature not a bug for the GOP so that the cowards can slink back into the shadows and enjoy the extra few million they transferred from the working class to themselves.
