  1. This is what happens when you try to play both sides and get caught in 4K. Democrats don’t love seeing their mayor fundraising with the GOP. Shocking, I know.

Politics can get messy fast 😬 Makes sense why some would pull support, but others might argue it’s just part of playing both sides.

The GOP will pick him up like they did the Fort Bend judge who got busted committing fraud.

  4. A couple years ago it probably wasn’t a problem, but there are no more republicans anymore, just MAGA. There were other things that made them bad, but it was pretty much sealed when they booted Liz Cheney. She was the more republican of republican, but wasn’t crazy enough for MAGA.

It’s not that he was bipartisan. Bipartisanship can be a good thing when you want to advance serious solutions and build consensus.

The problem is, he endorsed cooperation with ICE, and he buddied up to Dan Crenshaw. That isn’t bipartisanship. That’s just selling out to the forces of evil.

Anyone *that* anti-public-transportation needs kicked the hell out of office no matter which party they align with. He’s bought and paid for by the car industry. We need trains.

“This is devisive and only helps the GOP” they say.
What they really mean is “dont complain when we hand you a shit sandwich and tell you to be happy about it”

TBH, I’m not surprised. Mayor’s been playin’ both sides for a hot min now. Bit rich to see him shocked when dems bounce. What did he expect? SMH. 🙄 Politics ain’t no game, it’s ppl’s lives we talking bout here. Time for some fresh blood, IMHO.

Same thing needs to happen in NJ, for all those Mayors who supported Jack before the general.
