I don’t believe for one instant that any Trump supporters are ashamed of this. This man mocked the disabled, called the military suckers and losers, told them to buy less for their children at Christmas, there are so many things I can’t even begin to think of them all let alone to list them.

They will support him for as long as he is alive. If given the opportunity to support him, his policies, or his legislative (insert laugh) goals.  Because they are so afraid of democrats they will vote for a complete criminal of a republican.

See: I don’t agree with him but… With the but being he’s better than any democrat.

  2. The main suspect right now is Reiner’s drug addict son but of course Trump will make it about himself and politics.

  3. Read Obama’s post when Charlie Kirk died and then compare it to the gibberish this man wrote about Rob. Then tell me who the better man is. Obama was classy and Presidential. This man? I just don’t know man

  4. >“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood,” [the president wrote.](https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115724141568860081) “Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

    >Trump then proceeded to brag about being the best president ever, in a post that was ostensibly about mourning the loss of the Reiners.

People wonder why bullying rates are much higher in school now, as if to be shocked by that. When you have the President of the United States mocking a person’s murder, it shouldn’t be surprising to see kids turn out to be hateful and bigoted as well.

Christian nationalists in full made fun of a trans person in Charlotte Fosgate jumping off a bridge due to being viciously attacked by bigots, cheering as another trans person killed themselves. This is what the right-wing is. They literally celebrate death, especially the deaths of their list of “infidels”. It’s a hate group of the highest extent.

Note that not all of his supporters are ashamed. There are a good number that have no problem with it, see it as justified (for some reason referencing Kirk), or in some other way are excusing it.

  6. This thing is not a man, or a human. Just a vile creature incapable of human emotions that never learned what is good and what is bad.

  7. “I could shoot somebody in the middle of fifth avenue and I wouldn’t lose any supporters” 👀

I’m over here looking at my watch looking at Trump supporters jump off the Trump train.

Tick tock m*********** you’re f****** submarine is like way underneath the sea.

“Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose,” former President Barack Obama said on social media. “They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired.”

Quote from an actual president. How are MAGA and conservatives defending this? Genuinely want to know, or are they dancing around what happened and giving whataboutisms?

  9. What Trump means here is that he thought the Reiners were killed by a MAGA supporter and he’s glad that they were. The fact that he was as usual wrong is irrelevant. It is beyond revolting. It is an incitement to further murders. (Ironically, but also as usual, he is guilty of the exact thing he falsely accused Charlie Kirk critics of.)

The fact that the President of the United States is telling people that he celebrates when his opponents are violently murdered tells you all you need to know.

  11. Republicans now have the opportunity to blame this on Trump’s pudding brain and impeach. It’s what McCain would have done and he wasn’t a draft dodger!

  12. Unable_Technology935 on

His supporters are never ashamed. He’s what most of them have been their whole lives.

  13. lostinthemiddle444 on

No, they are not ashamed! They are just covering their asses. In a heartbeat, they’ll be bowing to the Dear Leader again.

  14. KneeDeepInThe-Hoopla on

Maybe I have become too cynical, but I do not believe for one second that his supporters care at all, let alone are ashamed. This reminds me of all of the people who said they would not vote Trump, yet mysteriously here we are. Out of all of the unjust, deranged, derogatory, and perverted things this evil man has done and said, this is what we are to believe is the straw that might break the camel’s back.

If I was writing Rob Reiner’s eulogy, I could go on for an hour, and I never met the guy. There is so much to say, there is so much he did. You’d have to write it out, and sit, and agonize about how to cut it down to fit the time, and people would be *mad*, mad that you didn’t mention the thing he did that touched them the most, that you didn’t emphasize the part of him that they cherished.

When it comes time to do Trump’s eulogy, what will anyone say?

If I was tasked with writing *both* eulogies, I’d have two different problems. With the first, what to keep in. With the second, what it was even acceptable to mention at a funeral.

If I’d been tasked to talk honestly at Trump’s funeral, I’d not be able to cite a single concrete example of something he did that was good in the world, I’d just have to run my mouth about abstracts and hope the check would clear.

Why are you surprised magats? **This is who he is.** This is who he has always been. Please spare me the fake shame and outrage. You knew that this is what trump is and you voted for it anyways.

He is literally the most vile, petulant waste of semen that’s ever walked the earth. I can’t wait to read his obituary.

  18. No they aren’t. They knew what he was, and voted for him anyway. They were perfectly fine with him hurting the rest of us. We’re watching ‘The Scorpion and the Frog’ play out IRL. Zero sympathy.

  19. No they fucking aren’t. I expect sanewashing and dithering from most publications, surprised LGBTQ nation wants to lie about it.

His supporters A. don’t believe its real or B. think he’s just doing what democrats did to Charlie. They don’t care. They aren’t ashamed.

  20. Creepy_Inevitable661 on

No shame felt by his supporters means anything. This is who they put in place to push hate through their own idiocy.

  21. This man is a homunculus stitched from the physical manifestation of the 7 deadly sins.

It’s nearly impossible to imagine someone else as despicably vile as this narcissistic slug. People in power need to act. There’s a limit and it’s already been reached a long time ago… but this goes so far beyond the line. Jfc

  22. Every time his fans go “wait that’s kind of a dick move” we’re all here just like “HES BEEN LIKE THIS FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE”

  23. Turning a tragedy into a WWE promo. Somewhere in White House PR they’re rewriting greatness to just mean biggest flex at the worst possible moment. It’s like watching someone try to dunk with the rim on fire.
