>Democrat Gary Clemons, a South Louisville union leader and U.S. Army veteran, won Kentucky’s vacant Senate District 37 seat on Tuesday in a roughly 47.5‑point landslide, taking 72.6 percent of the vote to Republican Calvin Leach’s 25.1 percent, according to unofficial Jefferson County results.

Looking forward to the next season of the DNC-RNC two steps back, quarter step forward routine.

In a special election where only the truly politically engaged people participated.
Kentucky always finds a way to fuck them selves over in a general election.

There’s two things that seem to be at play. First Republicans are very unpopular right now and are harming this country and stopping any sort of progress and people are mad.
Second with all these over performances, maybe Harris wasn’t that good of a candidate.

Even though the seat is in a relatively blue district of Kentucky, a 47 point win is huge.
