He’s claiming they had uncovered hard evidence that would have been enough to *prove* that he tried to overturn the election. That implies they found some kind of documentation of a plan, I think, which is actually fairly remarkable. Teflon Don usually operates on mob boss rules, where his lackeys do everything and he keeps his fingerprints off of it.
It does rather prompt the question of why they then slow walked the investigation until he got fucking crowned King of America and above all accountability, though.
