    The Republican-led Congress.

This is all Republicans fault because they can’t govern. Don’t be fooled by their attempts to gaslight you.

  2. It sucks when half of Congress can’t think for themselves and do whatever Trump tells them to.

I hope when the GOP starts yapping about work requirements for any issue people remind them of how few days they worked this year to collect their 174K plus bribes.

And a proposal to endanger trans youth by violating their access to standard appropriate medical treatment that is nearly universally misrepresented and saves lives.

Hey, guys! Just how soon is *your* grandmother going to die? “I don’t know. Can we toss her corpse on Ted Cruz’s car!?” “Yes, you can, Little Jimmy. Yes, you can.”

They don’t care. They refused to talk to Dems about it during shutdown and treated it like a holiday.

  7. House Republicans after spending the year whining about people getting benefits without working keep getting paid along with taxpayer subsidized healthcare while ditching work.

Laws are for thee, but not for me with these hypocrites.

  8. They’re checking out early, folks! Doesn’t matter if you don’t get what you need, they need to leave town!

This is the democrats fault for not communicating effectively and informing the republicans that this would happen.. /s

  10. So glad I don’t have to deal with this. It’s an unexpected upside of not having health care.

  11. But guys, now the Demcorats can use sick and dying people as a midterm message to get reelected again. This time the masses will finally see how horrible Trump is and this time and the moderates will finally vote for the Democrats this time. All apart of Shumer’s master plan. /s

  12. They worked very very hard (at evasion) and are entitled to the rest of the year off. Cowardly grifters

I suspect Johnson will keep them out for a looong time because of the impending impeachment vote for Bondi.

  14. I’m going to make an argument I didn’t expect to make today –

I think Trump might actually make America great again.

    Hear me out:

He has been so utterly ruinous, his policies have been so deeply unpopular, and so many people are now waking up to the fact that the Republicans are basically just billionaire shills screwing over all of us, that the backlash will be so severe we’ll end up with Medicare for all, some form of universal basic income, and a tax code more resembling the rest of the developed world in the next 5 years.

  15. That was the plan. No say Republicans ever gave a crap about poor, middle class and young people who need Obamacare.

They had to shut down the government to stall releasing records of Trump molesting kids. That’s the Republican pedophile protecting party. Every Trump supporter who voted to shut down the government, or hid the child molesting records, needs to go to prison.

  16. Republicans will pay a price for this in the mid terms. And it’s amazing to me that this isn’t the story because the Epstein thing is sucking all the oxygen out of the room. Of course this is preferable to republicans

Keep the people sick, hungry, and broke. Finally when these corrupt monsters throw them a few measly scraps from their own tables of plenty, the people will be too weak and too broken to do anything but kiss their boots.

  18. Do better NBC. Joyhnson, Republican majority speaker sent home congress Friday to keep protecting Trump over the Epstein Files.
