But there would also need to be a report that assessed the validity and determined it was fake in the files as well. So tell them to produce that, signed and dated.

Because I believe that Kash “Money” Patel said under oath that they didn’t exist. And if they do, then he purjured the *hell* out of himself.
So there’s an order of operations to this — they have to acknowledge the files exist / confirm Patel purjured himself before they can claim they one of the files is fake.
A better question for the DOJ is why they feel they are entitled to manufacture fake evidence without going to prison.
The released the real documents, because they are legally required to. There’s no law that says they can’t lie about them.

It’s all part of their game plan imo. Muddy the waters with some questionable/actually fake documents that can be “proven” to be fake. This puts into question the entire release for the MAGA base, which is enough for them to disregard the entire thing.
