  1. It’s not like nobody saw this coming. It takes a very basic understanding of economics to know his policies would drive inflation, hurt employers and otherwise negatively impact the conditions that affect everyday Americans.

How many of the working class voted for him?

How many of the working class voted for him twice?

How many of the working class voted for him three times?

How many of the working class would vote for him again if given the chance?

  3. Sure they don’t approve of Trump but they fear democrats even more because the GOP is allowed to feed them outlandish lies. Approval rating hasn’t mattered in forever.

  4. Hopefully these voters show up angry and ready to punish the party that let a toddler run amok.

  5. It still amazes me how blue collar and working class people thought a billionaire con artist and criminal was relatable and “the same as [them]” after all these years

  6. To be fair to the doomsayers, for once the “yeah yeah we have heard this song before and no results” crowd has more cheer to hear. As even anecdotal FB experiences are telling people, less sheeple are popping up with “I’ll defend any action by Trump and Co without limits” inanity and you see a great deal more pure radio silence.

What happened here was less a change of heart from former Trump loyalists and more of a situation hitting the limits of Fox etc propaganda. The economy sh&$ the bed so bad that the song and dance routine just couldn’t cover it up. What is scary as hell is that brütal foreign concentration camps used without due process, fraud, fraud again, corruption, visibly seeking personal Qatar style bribes for US military support, oh, and seriously bro, a LOT more adjudicated fraud and criminality that goes to the heart of abuse of power, etc, etc NONE of that meant diddly. I cannot imagine a worse state for a republic to be in going forward even when he croaks.

  7. Trump’s approval rating should have *started* at rock bottom with the working class. He’s never cared about them and yet so many voted for him…twice.

  8. His approval rating has dropped and then the next month it drops again, but nothing happens. He just gets shittier.

  9. Trump had already said, “I don’t care about you, I just want your vote.”

Were his supporters hard of hearing? Did they think Trump really cared after saying he didn’t? Were Trump supporters so filled with hatred toward Democrats, migrants, DEI, they didn’t care?

  10. Get ready for round two midterm strategy of;

“Hey look at Trump and Elon, look, they’re bros. Isn’t that cool ? They’re bros”

    Because that swayed people

Remember, the working class used to consistently vote Democrat.

Working class voters made up the heart of the Democratic Party for most of the last 100 years, but in 2024, Trump won the “Income under $50K” demographic. Why?

  12. If its above zero then its unfortunately not rock bottom, and the MAGA folks are incredibly resistant to logic

31% isn’t rock bottom, 0% is rock bottom. And also where he should be in any sane society
