  1. He bought a federal pardon not a state pardon. He’s already served 3 months of his term so get your ass back in jail and finish your sentencing. No one is above the law.

“Schwartz last week sought the delay in Whatley’s order. Schwartz’s attorneys said that, as a rabbi, he must adhere to a stricter kosher diet.

Whatley said the state had provided information that the Cummins Unit has a kosher kitchen to accommodate Schwartz’s diet.”

Apparently he’s so religious he adheres to a kosher diet but not religious enough not to steal 38 million dollars? Fuck off Rabbi.

Good. He can’t weasel out of state charges because the buffoon pardoned the federal ones for scamming the taxpayers. He also can’t claim a kosher diet as a reason, either. Source: I watched *Orange is the New Black.*

  4. >Schwartz had requested an extension of that order, citing concerns that the state Department of Corrections would not be able to comply with his religious dietary restrictions.

What does your religion say about tattoos and homosexuality? Sexual-enslavement and shivings?

May as well shoot the moon here, rabbi.

Mr. Trump most likely does not know or care that he cannot override STATE right to prosecute and imprison people.

This article isn’t really a case about the state vs federal nature of the pardon. To my knowledge, Trump isn’t demanding that the federal pardon void the state charges.

It’s just an article about how the guy doesn’t think he should report to prison because they won’t follow his dietary restrictions, or something, with an ancillary question about whether time spent in federal custody should count toward his state time.
