Now that. Charlie Kirk’s not around to tell the how to think, they can think freely for themselves now

  2. >Economic concerns and growing disenchantment with both parties is draining support for Trump among Gen Z young men,

They’re insulating their ego by becoming “both sides” dummies because they’re too embarrassed to just admit they were wrong for supporting grifter Republicans. Classic.

    >President Trump’s approval rating stands at 32 percent among 18-to-29-year-olds, and young men preferred Democratic control of Congress by a 12 percent margin, according to the recently released Harvard Youth Poll, which was conducted last month.

I question whether an old-school pollster (which I presume Harvard to be) can effectively poll a demographic which famously hates answering phone calls

They explain their methodology at the bottom of [the linked poll results](https://iop.harvard.edu/youth-poll/51st-edition-fall-2025), but I can’t make much sense of what ‘KnowledgePanel provides probability-based samples with an “organic” representation of the study population for measurement of public opinions, attitudes, and behaviors’ is supposed to mean

The ones finally starting jobs and families are and will continue to feel it in the pocketbook. Here in Indiana, people are realizing America isn’t great again under the current administration and they’re starting to talk about it.

  5. There are not many ardent Trump supporters under 35 getting laid, unless they are massively wealthy or hooking up with other MAGA men on Grindr.

  6. They either voted what we’ve had, so far, with this 2nd term or sat idle cause they didn’t have the guts to vote for either guy.

Now that many are seeing how dire things are, they are trying to run the fuck away to make MAGA lose long term power.

  7. They’re not men, they’re boys.

Men take responsibility for themselves, their actions, their words and their own happiness. Men also think of others as well as themselves, treat others as they would want to be treated.

  8. Prove it. Vote for a decent candidate that appreciates women, LGBT, and other things that actually matter.

  9. I’ve always been against the idea of generations hating on each other. We’ve all had our embarrassing eras. But gen Z men are very easily the exception here. Bunch of clueless apes “fighting back” against what they think is women getting too much positivity. Fucking imbeciles.

  10. Social media was a mistake. The fact that the youth showed up for this is a testament to that.

  11. They will go back to being libertarians. Which is just MAGA light without owning the shitty parts.

Well….too late for them now. They blew it. It’ll take a generation or more to reverse the damage these Christian nationalists have caused.

Start voting for the right people now and maybe they can save the country for the grandkids.

Any woman with half a brain wouldn’t date a MAGA guy, so I’m sure that has something to do with it.

They were sold the same lie a bunch of other generations of young men were sold. Now they’re realizing that the fantasy was just that and they want out. Unfortunately for them they’re going to be left dealing with the fallout for a good portion of their younger years.

Makes me wonder if the GOP took these sort of things into consideration before they decided to redraw congressional maps based on the 2020 high water line.

  16. They’re still going to vote repugnican, but just more moderate candidates. Everyone thinking midterms are in the bag for Dems have not been paying attention.

If people hadn’t interpreted the 2024 election results as “[Group X] has shifted right!” and instead said “[Group X] has been hit harder by the post-pandemic economy so they’ve moved away from the party in power,” we wouldn’t be having these “Oh look [group X] has shifted back left!” takes when only a handful of people actually changed their mind about anything besides which party they blame.

  18. “IN DROVES”, I call bullshit. I spoke to my maga cousin the other day, the whole family loves cheeto man. They refuse to look at the epstein files. Like cuz I’ll send you links lol.

  19. The amount of racist and misogynistic jokes my Gen z nephews make is crazy. I honestly think they ran with Trump because it was the cool thing to do. They couldn’t tell me one policy piece from either candidate.
