WELL, unfortunately for the Trump administration, putting the name on the building DOES NOT change the culture. Go look at the overwhelming sentiment on renaming everything… The culture is unchanged, and that culture thinks renaming the building is completely ridiculous and the people who did it are a bunch of morons, and their careers as they know them will be over after this fiasco.

Have fun while it lasts shitbags! You’re not going to be able to find work in a McDonald’s when this is over.

I cannot wait for the day when the DEMS are back in charge and his name is ripped off of everything AND all of that fake gold shit in the Oval Office is tossed in the trash.

Love the way the perpetrators of these takeovers VEHEMENTLY deny any fact whatsoever describing the direction they are taking. FIFA having free use of the campus for three weeks, oh they donated ten million $, and a trophy to trump. FIFA does not donate money.

  4. After retiring from raping and groping girls and women, he moved on to raping our national monuments, culture and institutions. Un-sated, he moved to destroy families, people of color, women’s and LGBTQ rights, all in the name of white Christianity. And all sanctioned by the highest court in the land.

I want to personally thank all the Americans who didn’t vote.

Can someone explain to me how people that were OUTRAGED over removing statues of Confederate racists, because it was “destroying history” are suddenly so okay now with destroying the Kennedy Rose Garden, demolishing a third of the White House and renaming allllll these things with Trump’s name?

I know I know it’s the party of hypocrisy. It’s their only actual value but good lord.

“We began to get information about mischief taking place at the Kennedy Center and we got strong enough signals that we mounted an effort to dig into it and see what seemed actually to be going on.

“It was out of that effort that the report and letter came, which basically suggested that, when the brigands took the ship, their first instinct was to loot it for their own benefit and hire their friends and put people up in fancy rooms at the Watergate [Hotel] and let favoured organisations get free access and it was all part of a Maga party atmosphere.”

Protesters gather in front of the Kennedy Center after Trump’s name was added to the facade.

A central charge of the investigation is that the Kennedy Center is providing preferential access and financial benefits to organisations connected to the Trump administration and its allies. According to a contract, Grenell granted world football’s governing body, Fifa, free and exclusive use of the entire Kennedy Center campus from 24 November to 12 December for the World Cup draw.

The illegal edition of Trump’s name to that building, will likely only be a historical footnote. I doubt that if Democrats come back in the power it will stay.

It’s also such a pathetic thing that it’s hard not to laugh at the stupidity of it all.

  8. This is a travesty, but ultimately I think it will serve as a boost to our other arts institutions, as we can now clearly see how they can easily be lost if we don’t protect and support them. Who knows, but I’m just trying to find a silver lining, if there is possibly one.

  9. If FIFA gave them all these millions, let’s see the receipts. I’m not taking Grenell’s word for anything. He’s the tyrant’s ass-kisser and wouldn’t hesitate to lie.

Conservatives are the reason why our country is such a mess. They’re all focused on immediate gratification and enrichment, not long term investment.

Infrastructure spending? Nope, sorry, I can’t have my photo-op on a highway built in 10 years’ time when I’m out of office. And no way I can keep those costs on budget if it’s my friend/donor who’s the contractor!

Healthcare spending? Sorry, but whether or not society is healthy and productive in 20 years isn’t my problem. What is my problem? Making sure I get an extra 5% on my dividends for this year.

Education spending? Nah, who cares if our workers are smarter and each one can earn more money with a higher education! I’m not willing to pay those teachers anything extra.

Clean energy? No thanks, the cost to build up the infractions too high, even though it’ll save us billions in the future and it’ll help make our country more energy-independent.
