The standard has been changed. Aspirin is not recommended unless the person has known heart problems, especially stents. My spouse was told to stop taking aspirin while I take a baby aspirin-81 mg. I have a stent.

I got a warning on another sub for stating that overdoing an antithrombolytic is so stupidly dangerous. You’re prescribed what you’re prescribed for a reason. Being over anti-thrombosed could make a simple fall a catastrophic brain bleed.
If this is true, I can’t believe his handlers allow this. My last few SAH patients are wither hemiplegic, paraplegic, suffering neurocognitive and autonomic dysfunction. When I was in neuro ICU, I saw my fair share not make it, largely the elderly after a fall whilst on blood thinners where they weren’t even aware they hit their heads.

If Trump actually takes 325mg/day, then credit where credit is due: it’s at the very top end of the range, but it *is* technically within the range.
