I don’t get the hate towards her on this issue. Yes, she’s a racist and yes, so many of her views I find abhorrent (immigration, LGBTQ rights etc) but she’s consistently been opposed to US wars overseas and support for Israel.
Whatever the rationale for it is, her foreign policy positions are far better than the majority of Democrats in Congress.

Venezuela is worse than the same Washington playbook and she helped pave the road that got us here.
She wasn’t sick and tired of it just a short while back. She played a big role in enabling Trump. And in J6. But she should be commended for this attempt to do the right thing. Not saying she should be trusted moving forward. One cookie per one good deed.

None of the MAGA folks in my neighborhood have an issue with anything trump does. Who is she speaking for?
Isn’t her last day tomorrow? If so it’ll be nice if no one speaks to her again. Yes, she has disagreed with and broke with trump as of late, but she helped empower him so she can kick shit covered rocks while wearing sandals and then go away. If she lives the rest of her life and she’s happy, so what. If life and reality grinds her into a fine powder…ehhh.

MAGA doesn’t survive this. MAGA has koolaid drinkers in it, but they’re not more than a third of the population. At least another third, if not a majority, of MAGA just wants no new wars. The core of the MAGA movement is an anti-war peace movement against continued American military adventurism in Iraq and Afghanistan. Trump can’t buy these people off when he is doing exactly what Hilary would have. And if Hilary had done this raid, the mainstream media would be lauding her for it in the same way they ignore how she helped Russia kill, murder and r-word European Ukrainians.
This is isn’t the end of MAGA just yet. This comes when Trump bombs Iran in July. Or tries to. For a certain I-country I can’t name. The cluster fuck is about to get much worse and Closely Monitoring The Situation will not be enough for Europeans – Europeans must arm their own defenses now while they still have time.
MTG being the most rational personal in the republican party is really weird.
It’s not the same Washington playbook… It’s the same Republican playbook that we have seen time after time. I don’t know if you guys are aware of this or not, but in the last 50 years, republican presidents have started more wars than Democrat presidents have. Democrat presidents have accomplished more during those conflicts. Then the Republican presidents did and ended more conflicts then republican presidents have… But Republicans have started more conflicts than Democrats have. I am 100% in the column of belief that the Republican Party should absolutely no longer exist. They should not have existed since the Nixon Watergate scandal. Their party should’ve been over at that point. Unfortunately, we let them not only survive, but thrive. And here we are

This isn’t being spoken of enough and should tie into the problems happening withing MAGA’s split. She now is taking the side of the “America First” movement because of her own deeply held beliefs that tie into her original spouting of conspiracies.
She split with Trump and has caused chaos for him, which is good, but the split needs to be recognizied for what it is… a power play within MAGA between 2 different types of nazi ideologies, basically.
