    Apps, self service, AI means all the hard stressful work is left.

    Companies also being tight means one person does the work of 2 or 3.

  2. It’s no more stressful than it ever was. Probably less so than when bullying and sexism was just part of normal working life.

    I think the tolerance is lower.

    The huge rise of rich people on social media probably doesn’t help. We’re all made to look poor and over worked. Where on SM it’s made to look like you should be pool side on your laptop from 9-10am then have the rest of the day off, or you’re doing something wrong. Comparison is the thief of joy

  4. Can’t help that within living memory, work just isn’t as rewarding as it once was either. Not when everything costs twice as much as it did 5/6 years ago and wages haven’t kept up.
