Its not a rant its a strategy and just like P2025 they are telling the world exactly what they want to do

    Impeach the fuckers now

If I’m hearing this right the US can take over any private company for its resources in the name of national security.

Miller might be the most fascistic person in this entire administration, even more than Trump. He needs to get lifetime imprisonment for his Nazi tendencies, along with Trump and Hegseth.

  4. >“We’re a superpower and under President Trump we are going to conduct ourselves as a superpower.”

Miller, that’s stupidpower. Stupidpower is the word you’re looking for.

    >“the future of the free world depends on America”

    Yup. That confirms it.

  5. Even if he’s an outlier in terms of rhetoric, the fact that this guy wasn’t immediately fired for this statement shows what the US has become.

  6. Can we legally send him to a deserted island in the middle of the ocean and leave him there?

  7. I’ve made a career out of bullying bullies in person when I see it happening and boy would I like a chance to run into this sub-par human on the street

Fucking hell these bastards are unhinged. America, please reign your psychotic politicians in. I am fed up of having to worry about whatever the fuck is going on there, 6000 miles away. I’d just like my (relatively) peaceful and stress free life back please.

Instead of “demanding that elections be held” in Venezuela, he added, “the future of the free world depends on America to be able to assert ourselves and our interests without an apology.”

Note to lunatic Miller: based on Trump’s actions the US is no longer the leader of the free world, and hasn’t been for some time. Get off your fucking soap-box.

  10. Stevie Miller is that weirdo you pass by on the way to class with a megaphone screaming about how white people are being oppressed.

Harmless and even might call the campus police because he’s getting aggressive…. But now he’s an unelected, unconfirmed conscience of a dementia riddled ignoramus who has the keys to our nuclear weapons.

This guy, more than anything, is what needs to be addressed by Congress at this moment in time.

He is who directed Hegseth to strike Venezuela. He is who is directing Noem to aggressively arrest and deport 1 million people. He is who is directing Bondi and Krash to go after political foes and people getting in the way of their “immigration policies”.

He hasn’t even been up in front of congress this term…but he’s always in the Oval Office meeting with everyone Trump is meeting with.

Ah yes, the “Dunroe Doctrine”, as per the President.

Surely a guy who can’t spell should control the whole hemisphere.

  12. It’s worth reading the article:

“The [United States](https://www.commondreams.org/tag/united-states) is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere,” said Miller. “We’re a superpower and under President Trump we are going to conduct ourselves as a superpower. It is absurd that we would allow a nation in our backyard to become the supplier of resources to our adversaries but not to us.”

See there was this German guy who felt similarly about his neighbors’ land, oil, and other resources. He glowingly spoke of the “incalculable raw materials” in the Urals, the “rich forests” of Siberia, and the “incalculable farmlands” of the Ukraine.

I can’t seem to remember his name. “Lebensraum” worked out really well for a while — until it didn’t. French Cola mines, Romanian oil, etc all under German control.

add Venezuelan oil to that list perhaps?

Not a rant. It’s an articulation of a world view that was rejected post WW2, and which has had a resurgence in the west. This is how humans operated for thousands of years.

Just to be crystal clear, I find this world view barbaric, but we can’t pretend we don’t live among barbarians.

This is what a successful coup looks like. This wasn’t just Trump, this was years in the making. Trump is the latest frontman. Destroying education, buying the media, rigging the supreme court, weaponized Gerrymandering, buying the majority of politicians from both parties, purposefully destroying public services so they can be privatized.

America has been hollowed out. It may look like a nice place from afar, but as you get closer you realize all the wiring has been ripped out, the pipes are leaky and someone shit in the oven.

America is just a few rich people ruling over a nation of cowards, bootlickers and dipshits.

  15. Tough guy. He’s so tough that he and his wife are currently living in a military base. He knows we know who and what he is. Hell , even a decent chunk of the MAGA base wants to string this pencil neck loser up.

  16. reddit_is_kayfabe on

These people – Miller and Hegseth and Rubio – all talk a big game about throwing around the weight of the military, but when the shit hits the fan and America starts to realize and bear the costs of their rash decisions, they won’t be around.

How do we know? Because *that’s exactly what happened with the Iraq War.* 2002-2003 was filled with jackbooted bravado from the Bush administration and Fox News. Those same people all became bored and defensive about it by 2005. It took us until December 15, 2011 to wind down operations, and the unsustainable options at that point left a power vacuum that promoted ISIS in Iraq to step in.

Trump’s talk about “occupying” Venezuela has all the same careless swagger and *way less* planning, and now they’re talking about also pursuing regime change or occupation in Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, and, ffs, Greenland.

Things are going to break and break *hard* and these people will all run for the hills.

  17. “We live in a world, in the real world, Jake, that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power”.

That is a scarily revealing quote.

Hey you, yeah, the one who was shouting about *unelected bureaucrats*. Why are you so quiet?

  19. Every time Stephen Miller opens his mouth, he sounds like the villain in a movie giving the monologue where he reveals his evil plan to the hero who he’s captured.

  20. CulturalKing5623 on

Nothing will change here unless and until the White Americans that disagree with this regime organize and go outside for sustained protest. The 1 day demonstrations are cathartic but they’re meaningless unless they spur continual resistance, and real resistance is only possible _outside_, in the streets.

Fascism has returned to the United States and right now the only people that can stop it are largely MIA.

  21. we really should have ended this after the civil war but of course not. why not let the most repugnant, degenerate, and violent cretins marinate within our society so they can continue to poison every ounce of progress humanity has made?
