Always fun to be president and “float” breaking the law and the constitution. Trial balloon after trial balloon.

He just told you what he plans to do on the anniversary of his attempt to cancel the 2020 election. 🙄

    >”How we have to even run against these people—I won’t say cancel the election, they should cancel the election, because the fake news would say, ‘He wants the elections canceled. He’s a dictator.’ They always call me a dictator.”

How is that fake news to call you that if you pull a dictator move by calling for cancelled elections? This asshole is seriously demented.

From europe: hes not joking. Not that I expect you guys to hold him to account anymore.

And he says this shit….on January 6th….2026….5 years after he tried to have the election overturned and have his VP assassinated. This has to be deliberate.

Can we have this dumbfuck child rapist impeached and tried for crimes yet? Even talking/joking like this should be a crime/slight against the US Constitution.

    >“So let me just say, three and a half years from now—so you mean, if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections? Oh, that’s good.”

For those of you in the US Military that are reading this, you swore an oath to the Constitution. It’s time for you to uphold and take action on that Oath. It’s already almost too late.

  6. I am genuinely amazed that the constitution, all the “checks and balances”, the “norms”, rules, international laws, political processes etc are things that a president can just say “no thanks” to. The USA is built on a house of cards. Crazy. I appreciate you need to own the house and the senate but it’s not impossible or even difficult to literally do as you please as the president of a country like America.

  7. This is what he does. He floats shit to see what he can get away with and to condition his brainwashed cult.

When he stood beside Zielinsky in the Oval Office recently, he quipped “Maybe I’ll declare a war so we don’t have elections”. He’s long had a fixation about that, without acknowledging that it’s contained in the Ukrainian Constitution.

  9. Then it means he will 100% do it or at least try to.

Everything is projection with this guy he cant keep his mouth shut ever.

At that point we would no longer recognize federal authority. Just because there aren’t elections doesn’t mean the incumbents remain; the seat is vacant, ergo anarchy, literally!

  11. He doesn’t have the authority. States run the elections.

Epstein files. Remember the White House. Demand due process. Might doesn’t make right. No Kings!

  12. Here’s a fun fact: The Supreme Court stated that Congress doesn’t need to convict Trump. The Supreme Court stated very clearly that Congress is solely able to enforce the 14th amendment.

All that is needed is for Congress to issue a resolution recognizing Trump as an insurrectionist under the 14th amendment and poof, he’s no longer legally a president. Doesn’t even need to be a law. Doesn’t need 60 votes in the Senate. He can challenge that resolution, of course, but it would just get thrown out because, again, the Supreme Court gave the power of determination exclusively to Congress, removing all courts from jurisdiction.

  13. He doesn’t “float” anything. He pretends to “float” things so that his agents in the media and such can start promoting/spinning those ideas as good policy.

We all know how this will play out

    trump: Im cancelling elections!

Republicans: Hes joking. Stop being hysterical. Its your fault for overreacting. And even if he did, wed stop him. He cant cancel elections

trump a month later: Im cancelling elections!

Republicans: Hes not going to cancel elections, but you have to admit the Democrat party is really bad and maybe shouldnt be allowed to run in elections

trump another month later: Im cancelling elections!

Republicans: We have to let the process play out, he does make some good points after all

    ::Elections successfully cancelled::

Republicans: This was inevitable. Nothing we could have done. cry about it libs.

  15. If he said he won’t cancel elections, guess what. A lifetime liar. The biggest liar anybody’s ever seen.

  16. As far as I know, he literally can’t cancel the elections. Elections are run and managed by the states.

  17. Just testing the waters again to see how much he can get away with. I’m seriously concerned your midterms are the last chance to save your democracy in America…if they even happen at this rate…

  18. At this point anyone who doesn’t understand that him “floating” something means they are looking for a way, is a fucking idiot

  19. FreeSeaSailor on

Why is he worried about impeachment? Wouldn’t this be another farce impeachment that does absolutely nothing? Or if Democrats win the house and senate can we actually get him removed?

  20. The GOP cant win by making voting impossibly difficult and/or illegal for Americans, so they’re just not going to have an election. You cant lose if you dont play!!

  21. “You gotta win the midterms. Because if we don’t win the midterms, they’ll find a reason to impeach me,” he added. “I’ll get impeached.”

He’s scared. He knows there’s really solid grounds for impeachment.

  22. He’s laying the groundwork for canceling elections.

Step 1 is normalizing a completely fucking insane idea in the media.

Step 2 is manufacturing a reason to do the completely fucking insane thing.

Step 3 is use a very weak legal argument to do the completely fucking insane thing.

It’s worked for him since 2016 so why not.

If you’re famous they let you do it.

  23. SaveDnet-FRed0 on

I don’t think he has the power to cancel any elections. However given his track record, he may still try.

  24. FutureRevolutionary- on

Donald Trump tried to steal an election 5 years ago today. Donald Trump has no respect for the traditions of this country. Donald Trump is a treasonous pedophile who has raped more kids than he’s helped. Donald Trump will one day fizzle out and pass away quietly, and I truly wish I believed in hell, because the thought of his bloated corpse burning there for eternity is the only thing that’s ever made me smile at him.

  25. ClimateSociologist on

This still follow the exact same pattern as everything else he’s “not suggesting.”

The talking heads, talk radio hosts, and influencers will tell us he doesn’t really want to cancel elections. But it would be a good idea if he did.

Then Trump will start saying that “many people say I should cancel the election.”

Then the surrogates will insist the president has a right to cancel elections. Suddenly, one morning they’ll all have the same talking point, “a president can cancel an election if the other party wants to impeach him”.

Then Trump will say “Maybe I should cancel it. We’re looking into it.

And the mainstream media will give us headlines like “Can Trump cancel elections? Experts are divided.”

  26. The elections are run by states. Also, I don’t think many republicans would go along with that.

  27. He’s not floating it. He means they haven’t found a way to do it yet.

He knows they’re about to get absolutely slaughtered at the ballot box unless he can federalize the election so his team gets to determine winners

    Or

He finds a way to say the Election must be postponed and Congress does nothing but go along with it.

There is zero chance the 2026 election will be done fairly.

  28. As if a war could stop American elections. Haven’t we been at war for over half our existence?

  29. Quiet piggy!

So this somehow doesn’t qualify as seditious speech?

Anyway, how about those Epstein files?

how the hell does the POTUS have so much power over the government without seeking congressional approval???
