*While speaking, Ms Ley initially said “far left neo-Nazi extremism”, and when grilled on whether she saw neo-Nazi activity as a left wing movement, did not rule it out.*
*“Well, these are political concepts about left-right, but what is most important is that radical Islamic extremism and neo-Nazi ideology – however people may choose to frame that in a left-right continuum – that they are included,” she said.*
*Following a question about the left-right political spectrum she referenced, Ms Ley then corrected herself, saying: “far left and neo-Nazi extremism were the words that I used”.*
*The misspeak comes as Ms Ley referred to Russia as the Soviet Union while live on air last week, saying: “The government should always stand ready to support the illegal occupation of Ukraine by the USSR, by the Soviet Union.”*
*Her office later edited out references to the Soviet Union in the official transcript and replaced it with Russia.*
*Ms Ley has been critical of the Albanese government for failing to address “radical Islamic extremism in their language or their intentions” in the weeks following the Bondi massacre, but reiterated the Coalition’s commitment to working on a bipartisan basis on Wednesday.*

Those far left neo-nazis… wanting not just a pure arean nation but also universal healthcare and an increase in the pension to a livable standard.

That’s a slippery slope, unless you also include far-right extremism.
What must be in the terms of reference, however, is radical university activism. It’s a huge shame that we live in a country where at the moment where Jewish people live in fear walking on our streets while university students get +300 aura for posting a Snapchat or Instagram story of them attending hateful protests.

Pretty disgraceful comments by the leader of a major party.
In more sensible times this kind of deliberate and blatant lie (that neo-nazism is anything other than a far-right ideology) would have damaged her career, if not compromised her leadership entirely.
As it is, and given the recent actions of her party, I doubt that she will face any consequences though.

…aaaaaand there it is. Any pretence that the calls for an RC were anything other than attempts to attack “tHe LeFt” have been blown out of the water. Albo, pull the curtain closed on this nasty farce now, once and for all.

Well she doesn’t really want right wing extremists included as that will be most of the Coalition/One Nation supporter base and many of their politicians…..
