Stand up against the ICE Nazis. Americans should peacefully protest against Trump and his Nazi followers.

  2. What? So many headlines and posts about the National Guard taking on ICE recently! What happened?

I’ll tell you what happened. That was never the plan and I have no idea what crazy person (or state disinformation) started it. It was to ensure that any expected protest didn’t get out of control.

  3. Good. Protect the protestors exercising their rights, Guardsmen. From both agitators, and the feds.

(Many of whom are now sadly one and the same.)

“According to Gov. Walz’s office, the National Guard will serve in a support role by focusing on protecting property, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and allowing local law enforcement to focus on community safety and investigative responsibilities.”

Someone please let me know if I’m missing something, but this doesn’t sound helpful at all.

  5. Good move by the governor. This definitely needs to be done. He has to protect the people in his state.

He ended his bid for reelection and is seemingly acting more boldly as a result, I don’t know what his analysts are telling him but these bold public moves are what people want more of from him. Once his polling numbers go back up I wonder if he will want to run again, I love this dude.

  7. I pray that Minnesota puts up a real fight, because if they don’t, we’re just going to have to repeat the same thing in another town.
Fuck these Nazi fucks and fuck Trump supporters I’m so fucking tired of this

  8. So Walz is going to use military thugs on the citizens too? America sure likes beating, killing and jailing it’s citizens when they get mad with the government’s abuses.

A Dem actually doing something with the power they have, limited or not. More Need to follow, not just make social media posts.

I hope minnesota flips the bird and becomes a canadian territory. I need more states to follow suite as well.

  11. I’m sure all those “anti-tyranny”, “1776”, “2A” guys will be stepping up to support Walz soon because they’re on the same side now, right?

This is the hero we need

I’m still upset all my liberal friends who said he was a war monger and that trump was a better option

So the MN national guard versus federal ICE agents? I did not have that on my 2026 bingo card.

  14. This is to keep any rioting from happening and not about arresting federal personnel.

Why am I seeing people even suggesting this is the case?

  15. So put the NG between ICE and the people? Or just have them trailing and watching them violate the constitution?

  16. Forsaken-Log-607 on

Reddit doesn’t like the statement that Americans that they have the constitutionally protected right to protect and defend themselves with specific items.

    Just stating a fact

  17. Imagine if a fake video about a fake daycare fraud scandal leads to Waltz being unrestrained (in a good way) and standing up for America.

    4d chess conservatives.

    Fucking nightmare.
Minnesota National Guard facing a off against ICE.

What exactly are the issues preventing Congress from reeling in Trump’s power ?

  19. This is the true state’s rights fight that the right has always claimed for themselves. A state governor defending his state’s sovereignty against the federal government? Federalism has never been more explicit.

Is there any chance Canada will offer to take in Minnesota? And Cascadia? And New England?

Half the folks here legit think he’s doing this to fight ice. Dudes. He’s doing this to preempt protests. They’ve said as much about 10 times now. All the stupid hyperbolic “civil war 2” and “oh here we go” idiocy is comical. The guard is there to protect business. Not fight ice. And you better believe if the protestors get out of line you’ll see just how “pro the people” this decision was.

  22. The language says it all. The guard has been activated to protect property and infrastructure. Notably absent from the statement is protecting PEOPLE.

  23. Coffee_Transfusion on

They should protest alongside the people.

Who in their right mind wants state-sanctioned murder of US civilians to be an acceptable action? It’s not even partisan. It’s right vs wrong. I don’t want the federal government to be able to freely murder *any* of my fellow citizens, no matter what their ideology is, or who they voted for.

  24. As someone that’s not American, who would win in this scenario? The national guard or ICE? Legally speaking, who overrides who?

  25. It’s has to start somewhere
    It has to start sometime
    What better place than Minnesota
    What better time than now

  26. It’s going to be like brave heart. Ice and Minny will seemingly crash and then instead shake hands and turn wpns on civvies

  27. He talked about Ruby Bridges today. My guess is that he’s going to deploy them to schools

  28. Ok-disaster2022 on

He’s not directing them to remove or arrest ICE. He’s mobilizing them to protect infrasture presumably against riots and the like.

  29. Sane Americans have a moral imperative to *protest* against this government alongside your states.

Demand your state governments activate your own militaries. Exercise your 1st and 2nd amendments.
