Rob Hirst, the absolute powerhouse drummer from Midnight Oil, has passed away after his battle with pancreatic cancer. The band just confirmed it. He was such a driving force behind their iconic sound, just an incredible musician. Jimmy Barnes and Hoodoo Gurus have already posted some moving tributes. Really hits hard for Aussie music fans.
