” A Labor source said the resignation was unrelated to the recent Bondi terrorist attack. ” Just a coincidence im sure

  2. Wasnt she the one who wrote an article bitching about ASIO watching her and basically telling her they consider her suspect, with compromised allegiances?

  3. Was she one of the unnamed ‘experts’ who he said told him we didn’t need a RC.

Maybe she got out before he threw her under the bus?

But then again, maybe she really liked the salary and title but when crunch time came and someone told her she was the PMs national security advisor she thought, ‘fuck that, I’m out.’

Anyway, unusual timing. Anyone here got the inside goss rather than partisan bleatings?

With the US threatening to invade Greenland, we might be seeing the start of a clean out of strategic thinkers who advocated US defence alignment.

Clearly we are living in a new era where “might is right”, Australia will have to rearm and rebuild its defence manufacturing industries/stockpiles.

She would be carrying either blame or shame for recent failings, both would justify her jumping ship.

  6. Looks like Albanese is going to make her a scapegoat for his failings….nothing changes. Here he is punching down on woman.
