He had several drinks and went home, decided he could drive in that condition, took his van out and then also decides that he can put up multiple flags at night rather than just the one? I mean how long do you think you can do that without hurting yourself or worse yet, somebody else? I feel bad for the man but he really was courting danger.

Interesting how the article skirts around the fact that he *was* a football hooligan with lifetime banning orders rather than just writing books about them.
Not to mention his involvement with the far, far right and that he was a racist.

If he lived in Northern Ireland and died putting up flags he would have a mural dedicated to him.

They should dedicate a flag to him. They could call it the Lumber Jack.

RIP to a great patriot and a man who loved his football team so much that he became the first ever person to be given a football banning order

The main thing is that this drink driving convicted racist football hooligan only killed himself with his stupidity.

He did it wrongly.
What you’re supposed to do in accept donations on facebook for putting up flags… but not actually do it.
