Hi everyone 👋 I wanted to share a small win from the PhD trenches.

Our paper on grid-scale hydrogen energy storage for Philippine island grids has just been published! 🎉
In this work, we aimed to answer a question many of us struggle with in research:
why promising technologies don’t always get adopted, even when the science appears solid.

We combined life cycle assessment (LCA), multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), and a bit of game theory to explore policy, costs, and stakeholder behavior—especially in island and remote grids.

If you're interested in:
• energy transition research
• decision-making frameworks
• island / developing-country contexts
• or just need motivation that papers do eventually get published 😅

Feel free to check it out—it's open access, no paywall:

Just sharing in case it’s helpful, and also to say: kapit lang sa lahat ng nasa grad school grind 💪📚
