Maybe they should be on the streets protesting too. These strongly worded letters do jack shit.

  2. Obama was 100 times the president Trump is, and 1000 times the person. If Trump says he’ll run for a third term, can we reelect Obama?

  3. Wake up call? The majority of Americans are already aware of whats going on on both sides.

He needs to address it to fucking representatives and judges that are causing these murders to happen. Warning the wrong fucking group.

“wake up call”? sadly, I think most Americans don’t really care. they will gasp for a short moment then go on with their day never to think of it again. that’s one thing trump always have one his side: the American short attention span. they only get upset when prices get too high, like with biden; however, Now it seems like americans are getting apathetic towards that as well. kind of funny how we went from screaming about biden to “meh” at anything trump does.

If the United States saw what the United States was doing in the United States, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States

  6. every past president and vice president needs to speak up including George Bush and Mike Pence

  7. Obama empowered ICE as president, and appointed Tom Homan to his current job. He even gave Homan the Presidential Rank Award for being good at deporting people. The award came with a cash incentive.

I didn’t vote for Obama specifically because he voted for the Patriot Act.

I absolutely voted for Harris/Walz in 2024 before anyone calls me a purist who led to this. But back then, I definitely exercised a protest vote.

The Patriot Act is *the* legislation that allowed citizens to be declared “enemy combatants” and stripped of due process.

  9. It won’t be, because nothing ever is. Not until food is scarce and a larger portion of Americans are out of jobs. There is still too much to lose if the current order/status quo is upset. Then will Americans wake up.

It should be a wake up call from Republican voters because, to a person, democratic voters have been fully awake for at least a year.

  11. He needs to stop talking to “all Americans” because guess what? American people are aware. Yank the democratic congress people and senators to attention. They keep funding ice and bending the knee to trump’s agenda.

So frustrating the overwhelming response from the old guard democrats has been “Lets wake up… and go to the polls!!!” and the headlines from that are “Democrats SLAM ICE for incident where bullets exited officer’s gun and lead to injury to man who was armed!”. Its all just theater

Obama can only do but so much at this point but he’s speaking up fairly consistently and the only president we have that is willing to..

He’s telling us what to do without directly telling us what to do. I’d imagine if he said any more it would be breaking some oath, and we could imagine the retaliation he’s attempting to avoid as well.

At this point, if you haven’t already seen the injustice and terrorism with this administration, there is nothing going to change your view.

First Trump election was a wake up call. His two impeachments were wake up calls. Jan 6 was a wake up call. Trump’s criminal convictions were a wake up call. Trump running again with Musk’s and Thiel’s backing was a wake up call. Trump’s reelection was a wake up call. Blanket pardoning of Jan 6 insurrectionists was a wake up call. Militarization of ICE was a wake up call. And so it goes.

ICE’s murdering of peaceful citizens is not a wake up call. It is just the latest expected outcome of America’s continued inability to effectively do anything when wake up calls are loud and clear.

I wonder if he is regretting his focus on ”bipartisanship” during his administration?

Does America have a collective “Rock Bottom”?

How sharp do the rocks have to be?

This is exactly what the majority of white voters wanted. It’s naive to think it was merely about egg prices. Trump was clear about what was going to happen; he emphasized it repeatedly during his campaign and on social media. Did people really believe he would suddenly find empathy in his last term? If people actually cared and paid attention back on November 5th, 2024, as they do in January 2026, we probably wouldn’t be in this mess.

This is what America voted for. Many chose not to vote, many wouldn’t vote for a woman, and many wouldn’t vote for a non-white person.

Obama said it best: *”Elections have consequences.”*

The wake up call for the US was Jan.6 2020. It failed miserably and here we are. Well, actually here you are.

  20. I wish he would stand up and lead the rebellion. The people are ready. We just lack leadership and direction. Obama or AOC would be perfect.
