Teachers in England driving homeless pupils to school and washing clothes, research shows

I was a lecturer in and FE college up until about 2011 and we had a student who we had to wash their clothes for in a washer tumbler we had for art aprons, and one of the teachers used to get his lunch everyday. This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
