Why is ICE even in Minneapolis? Minneapolis is not a border city. In November of ’24 none of the people checking the box for Trump were thinking to themselves “Hell yeah, we are finally going to clean up the dangerous streets of Minneapolis”.
There are more ICE agents in Minneapolis right now than there are MPD. After the Renne Good shotting The Administration increased the numbers. Clearly the Administration want confrontations. They are raising tensions on purpose. If this was honestly about immigration enforcement ICE would be operating at this scale in Dallas, Houston, Miami, Phoenix, etc.
Also DHS is lying about it. Officials are literally saying the man had a gun and was there to kill agents. DHS isn’t claiming anything about an accidental discharge. DHS is saying it was domestic terrorism and their agents neutralized a threat. Its disgusting.
I think what happened here was that the ICE officers were just grossly untrained and/or incompetent. One of the officers said something like “he has a gun”. One of the officers *removed* the gun from Pretti, but didn’t tell the others about it. One officer panicked and fired. The others probably thought it was Pretti firing, and mistakenly joined in and killed him.
That’s what happens when you have around eight officers gang-banging this poor guy. What I want to know is why they gang-banged him in the first place.
Stop trying to play nice with fascist, that doesn’t ever work. They need to be calling them out for what they are, and everyone who’s involved with their sons murder.
My sincere condolences to his parents and friends. From what I’ve read and heard about him he was an exceptional person that cared about his fellow man had compassion kindness compassion and empathy you should be very proud of the man he was, the world needs more people like him. For trump, his murderers and anyone and everyone that is justifying murder,abducting children the world needs less people like you a lot less
