Last I checked, Florida voted for this. I do not feel sorry for Florida. And I respect the Canadiens for staying away. If you’re gonna keep putting Ron DeSantis and his ilk in power, as well as the shit that is in our federal government in power, then you’ve earned the pain.

I did the bare minimum of research and cant find any of the data to support the claims in the article outside of canadian tourism being down, but it seems internal tourism has kept things growing still overall. Anecdotally ive only seen one ontario plate this season

Brit here. Always wanted to take my son to Florida, and was planning to last year. That will not happen now, at least until this is over – which may be after he no longer wants to go on holiday with me unless you can get a grip.
Similar view from all friends I’ve spoken to, none of us will visit you now. Very sad because we love you guys. It’s just not worth the risk.
