I hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but 10,000 rounds ain’t much ammo. As a hard core lefty, I probably have that much myself in assorted calibers.

Surely after their comments this weekend, MAGA will have nothing to say about this right?

    That’ll do it.

  4. Weird title. They should lead with the illegal firearms, or the illegal armor piercing rounds, not simply the number of rounds he possessed, which would be legal if they weren’t armor piercing.

Lol of course Shasta County. One of the most vile right-wing counties in California. They have not been the same ever since the husband of their state senator got demolished by Gavin Newsom in the gubernatorial election a few years ago. Some of the stuff they post on social media even scares me.

Shoulda led with illegal and stolen weapons. 10k is a lot, but not uncommon in some parts of the country, like South and western states.

  7. This MAGA activist thinks he has like minded US friends all over the internet, only to find out it’s a bunch of underpaid teens from Africa and Russia.
    Who’s gonna tell him?

  8. So, yeah. My dad has 10k rounds in his closet. He has more than 20 guns and easily has over 2000 rounds for things he uses more often. It’s just a practicality thing, and that’s who he is as a gun owner. Ammunition is often difficult to source. The market is volatile, which encourages hoarding among uh, enthusiasts.

  9. Alex Pretti & Renée Good are falsely branded as terrorists but this one is a MAGA activist?

But the man legally carrying his own weapon with 2 magazines deserved to be executed and called a terrorist?

    Right

We need to greatly expand the ATF and find out which communities are harboring illegal weapons. They’re hiding all over small rural communities

  12. Me and the wife go through about thousand rounds a month at the range so we buy in bulk 10,000 rounds really isnt out of the realm for someone to have and not be up to something nefarious. I didn’t read the article so I don’t know what the guys up to but you can’t just go off somebody having that many rounds because it’s really not that many.

  13. Armor piercing M855 ammo is sold at any gun store and was actually the cheapest 5.56 ammo at Bass Pro Shops on Black Friday. 10,000 rounds really isn’t that much ammo either.

I didn’t know what’s the law in California regarding ammunition but I do know that 10k rounds of ammunition is not considered excessive in Tennessee.
