Offshore wind is also critical for the US’s long-term energy security, despite Trump’s insane vendetta against it. Many of its largest cities are along the coasts where offshore wind energy would be a great asset.
It must be nice to have an energy secretary who isn’t an idiot and political hack like the one Trump appointed.
The whole thing is mystifying to me. Like is Trump aware how stupid he looks here but the oil money is just way too good? Does he think this is a winning position for the electorate? Or is this actually what he believes?
