what does a free trade deal mean? No taxes, duties ect? if they are imposing tariff, duties that is not free trade

American economy is highly consumer driven. People buy, buy and buy. No matter how bad is their individual economic condition, Americans just keep buying. That is extremely enticing for any business in the world, even with the tariffs, they still make more money out of American consumers than any other economy.
