Yeah this is insane footage. Always crazy to come on here and see completely novel types of footage. We have the Russian plane ejecting and crashing POV and now this.

​The footage shown in your screenshot is widely recognized by aviation experts as being from a Russian Su-25SM (specifically bort number “09 Red”), despite the caption in the Reddit post. This video became famous in late 2022 because it was the first time a pilot’s own action camera (mounted to his helmet) captured a high-speed combat ejection in such detail.
​The Pilot’s Status
​Survival: The pilot successfully ejected and survived. The full video shows him descending by parachute and landing in a field.
