  1. And rent assistance goes straight to a landlords pocket too. Not sure why thats on the poor side if the equation

  2. After ww2 the govt built 20% of supply for decades and everyone had cheap houses. In the 80s people started to believe neoliberalism and over the next 3 decades public housing was sold off and the government built less than 10% of the stock. And here we are with a housing crisis.

    One people wonder why One Nation is surging in popularity. The housing crisis is marginalizing more and more people by the month. If people feel the system isnt working or worse, is exploiting them, of course they will cast a ‘F you’ vote and vote ON.

    You know there are people who complain about this then go vote ALP or LNP as first preference too.

  5. The Greens have been saying this for years and nothing has changed.

    LibLab couldn’t give a shit about renters beyond the money they make for landlords. You can tell by policy and the fact that nearly all politicians are landlords themselves.
