Easy for them to pay when they are getting a hotel, money to live off of, and free healthcare that is now co pay.

  2. All adult asylum seekers should be compelled to either work privately or do public works for the public benefit, i.e cleaning, personal support etc. And their employment shouldn’t count towards immigration points.

No one should receive financial support while sitting at home

  3. The gravy train was not sustainable.

As the hand outs gradually end watch the numbers of ‘refugees’ slow to a trickle.

If you’re mad at refugees for getting benefits you don’t get, redirect that anger towards your MP to demand the SAME benefits they receive. Instead complaining about what other people get, DEMAND YOU GET what they get.

Make the boats RISE with the tide and do better for EVERYONE around you.

“They get subsidised housing”. Yeah. So should you.

“They get medical benefits I don’t get”. Yeah. So DEMAND them. Demand them from your employer. Demand them from your MP. Demand that billionaires (who most likely created the humanitarian situation in the first place to cause these people to flee their homeland) pay their tax bill. IN FULL.

“They get food stamps while my kids go hungry”. Then join a union and demand better wages and conditions. Organise outside your MP’s office demanding annual wage increases be mandatory at the level of CoL WITH HOUSING factored in.

    LIFT people up around you.

Way too little and way too late!

Don’t get me wrong, I am all about helping those who are truly in need, but that is not largely what we are dealing with here. We are getting played big time!

How about this….. put them in a camp like many countries do. This will reduce costs substantially compared to this ridiculous policy of putting them up in hotels, complete with restaurant expense, cell phones and some mad cash. If anyone complains that would speak volumes as to their true intent.

We don’t even treat our brave men and women so well let alone actual tax payers who are expected to foot the bill.

Additional to that speed up processing. First and foremost ANYONE who has disposed of their passport/id immediately rejected along with anyone arriving from the US or any other safe 3rd nation for that matter. That should clear up the bulk of the backlog.

Remind me again why this was not as much of a problem pre-2015. Ahhh yes….. the trudeau and the globalist no-border zealot, the carney!

About time but even that isn’t enough.

These people take come with health complexities, don’t speak English so then require health care workers to use a translator which take twice as long for assessments, and then come “not knowing” they’re pregnant to try to get PR.

    It’s ridiculous.

  7. Co-pay health costs with a salary that is given by the government? Can someone explain what the hell changes from this?
