I just saw on YouTube about an American Civil War Union soldier got shot in the forehead. He crawled for miles to the medical aid station. Doctors thought he’s a goner, refused to treat him, but he still didn’t die. Decades later, numerous small pieces of lead was pushed out of the body as his body heal. He was left with a similar permanent hole in the forehead.
