This riding is a solid liberal riding but the fact that they can get candidates of this calibre speaks for itself.

Definitely a change from the late Trudeau era where every byelection candidate was some no-name staffer who ended up losing. Safe ridings should be used to bring high caliber candidates in, which is what the Liberals did here.
