  1. People didn’t come to cheer for politicians. They came to cheer for athletes who trained their entire lives. This feels incredibly obvious.

  2. Unless the sport involves couches, JD Vance has no reason or desire to be there.

(for legal reasons, this is a joke.)

The least popular VP in modern history, and I’m sure he just did his usual smirk 😏

  4. Man, the Olympic Committee begged people not to boo him, and Italy really said, ‘Instructions unclear, increasing volume.’

  5. I read the headline as JD Vance was booing, not being booed at. JD booing other countries doesn’t seem that unlikely.

Honestly the American athletes shouldn’t even be representing the US right now, if they gave a shit about the US right now they would have registered under the Olympic flag.

I am delighted the US athletes received such a warm welcome! Hopefully Vance was aware of the contrast in his reception, although he is so dim, probably not.

  8. Most people can separate government and people.

Luckily, most maga stay at home, so Europe doesn’t need to deal with most of them.

Let me just click this link and hope to Christ almighty the video at the top of the page is actually the video I want to watch…I’ll find out after 1 minute of ads!

  10. Doesn’t surprise me. And honestly every time I saw him on the camera he looked like he wanted to be literally anywhere else.

How does this happen to someone without them questioning if they’re doing something wrong? What an incredible disconnect from reality.

I’m going to get banned but the last time Vance went to Italy he whacked the pope with his germs.

    🤌

I watched it on Eurosport (US owned) . they muted booing for Vance and Israel. They knew beforehand.
