  1. > “The public has turned against him. In every election we’ve had since his election, the voters have swung wildly against him. And as you know, he said at that prayer breakfast, his ego cannot stand another loss,” Schiff told ABC News’s Jonathan Karl on “This Week.”

    > “So, we have to prepare for the worst. We have to prepare in every way we can. And frankly, the best preparation we have is not the Congress because Republican senators, for the most part, are not going to stand up to him.”

    Schiff’s right.

The article points it out too but Trump’s comments about taking over elections and otherwise tampering with them are also alarming as hell and completely within the realm of what I’d expect him to attempt and a significant chunk of the republican party to go along with.

  2. The Epstein Class will use Trump as the fall guy the moment he dies. It was all him, nothing more to see or be done.

“Turned”? Not the public, that was pretty much always against him. Just the MAGA fanbase who are *just now* starting to have voter’s regret. (Apology not accepted, by the way.)

They have. The news is slow to reach some of the cabal who have gotten high on their own supply, but the cracks are showing. It may not be a dam bursting, but supporters are peeling off. Republicans who consider themselves “moderate,” Trump supporters, despite being not very moderate, are increasingly uncomfortable .

It’s so frustrating that this has been the Democrat leadership strategy. Don’t rock the boat and just wait until he becomes even more unpopular.

Meanwhile orange man has done irreparable harm to America. It no longer has any real allies and everyone is simply quietly moving away and broadening trade partners. There are masked men in the streets asking people for their papers and disappearing them. Multiple new wars, benefits being taken from the poor and the money given to the rich. Health care costs exploding and the Dems are still playing nice.

I said this years ago but look at how effective Hillary emails, Hunter Biden laptop etc are by simply repeating the same talking points.

Every public comment or interview should have reminded the public about stolen supreme court seats since it happened. Now every single interview should start like this.

“Before we get started I just wanted to remind people that our President who was held liable for sexual assault is now covering up for himself and his pedophile friends as described in the Epstein files. He also bragged about walking in on naked children at his beauty pageants.”

Like literally just spam it every single day. Why are these fucking idiots still playing nice when Democracy is at stake?

  6. It was the Russians that got him in the White House in the first place, so no surprises here.

  7. The educated public has always been against Trump.

The undeniable evidence of his child sex crimes has made a dent in the number of people who supported him. The willingness of others to point out his senility, his public self shitting and his bigotry has helped

  8. If Stephen Miller was removed from the White House (and the country), we would see an immediate change in the amount of pressure this regime is applying to the public. He is the architect of the chaos and we need to get hyper-focused on ending his political career.

  9. For real do something! We voted you guys in and we expect you to strong arm the fuck out of republicans like they done to you guys when you had the majority!

  10. It doesn’t really matter if the public is against an authoritarian.

Congress needs to act while they can.

Trump has never been popular. He’s very polarising and strong cult following him. Is 42% with positive opinions that low for him?

  12. Chickpeademon: “Why haven’t you in any meaningful way?”

    >”So, we have to prepare for the worst. We have to prepare in every way we can. And frankly, the best preparation we have is not the Congress because Republican senators, for the most part, are not going to stand up to him,” he added.

We refuse to do our job and we don’t want to be called out for it.

  13. only took this much for the public, most of them anyway to realize trump is against everything they are

  14. Most of the public does but there is still about 40 to 45% who still do. They still haven’t found a way to break the spell over them and I doubt they will.

  15. I’m liberal- and there’s something about Schiff that I really don’t like or trust. Met him once and this just affirmed my gut feeling. Nothing other than an instinct.
