I’ve never really watched one of these hearings but it’s wild. Essentially the Chairperson of the committee is republican, and is praising Bondi in opening statements. Then the Ranking Member of the committee is a democrat, and he is saying how grossly incompetent she is. Half the committee is glazing her and saying she can answer however she wants, etc. and the other half is (rightfully so) demanding answers and to at least look at the victims.

That leaves her 3 choices: 1) start to abandon Trump and follow the law, 2) Do everything she can to stop fair elections and the transfer of power, or 3) Be in denial about how big the threat is and assume the election only needs a little meddling, thereby failing to protect herself.
Personally, I think it’ll be more #3 than #2. And it will be very interesting to see what happens when she tells the DoJ to arrest the Democratic winners of the primaries for “stealing an election”. By that point, her underlings will have seen that the tides are against them.
