  1. President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan says ICE agents are pulling out of Minnesota as part of a “significant drawdown” following weeks of chaos.

The top immigration official insisted that the buildup of agents in the state, which led to the killing of two U.S. citizens, was a success, but nonetheless said the surge operation will wind down.

I wish the entire country would focus on the Epstein files. Once all the coconspirators are gone we would be able to start over. Our country is run by pedophiles. Protest planned nationwide 2/20/26.

  3. I want to know how many people ICE arrested actually had __violent criminal histories__.

It would have to be a very large number to justify all the (unlawful) harm they’ve done.

  4. The senior ICE official in Minnesota (Tom Homan) slipped up today.

He called Democrats __”the other side”__ of the enforcement crackdown.

He literally equated political party with criminality.

  5. Everybody should be paying attention: fighting back works.

Resist, don’t comply in advance, and stand together as communities against unlawful and unconstitutional actions of the secret police.

Notice how fast everyone jumped to “Trump surrendered.” That framing is the real play.
Outrage is profitable. Victory laps are profitable. The one thing that’s not profitable? Admitting the enforcement apparatus keeps expanding no matter who’s in charge. That part never trends.
This post feeds the exact binary the operators want: strongman vs. retreat. Meanwhile the detention contracts stay intact, the budget baseline stays elevated, and the machine keeps humming. (Which, let’s be honest, everyone predicted when the surge was announced.)
We’re arguing over the press release while the structural incentives stay untouched. That’s not an accident. That’s the design.

  7. Almost like immigration enforcement is more complicated than just sending more agents somewhere.

  8. Minnesotan here – I think they are just trying to get funding approved and shift attention away – the last scale back was just a tactical shift- we expect the same is happening now- until there is accountability for the crimes and our neighbors have made it home – the fight is not over.

  9. Or they’re just *saying* that and will keep on engaging in their violent, fascist thuggery while claiming that they’re not.

  10. By “success” they mean the people of Minneapolis and the whole area set a remarkable example of largely non violent resistance and support for minority communities. This will be remembered, written about, and studied for years, on an international scale.

Repairing the damage, economic and social, will take years as well.

  11. Good job Minnesotans!

But, as others are saying – believe it only when you see it, since this administration is congenitally incapable of honesty.

  12. A whole 4,000 nabbed at a cost of $1.5MM each, not to mention the deaths, ptsd, cost to small business and other downstream effects.

At that rate it will cost us $30T to round up mostly non-criminal undocumented.

These Trump worshipers are frauds and broken people

  13. It is not a surrender until those officers who committed crimes in Minnesota are in prison, Donald Trump is in chains, and our system is reformed to not allow anything like this to happen again. It is very much not over.

  14. “Surrenders” I don’t think killing civilians and harassing an entire city, sparking protests and using gas on the citizens is “surrender”. This was the intent. They’re going to bully a new kid to pick a fight.

It doesn’t matter. I mean, now Minneapolis gets a reprieve, but even so this should have NEVER HAPPENED. It is absolutely disgusting that Republicans have caused this and they cheered when they did it. They continued to cheer during, and then when they were shown how fucked up it is they shrug and say, “Should’ve complied.”

I want justice. I want accountability. And I know that I will not get it as long as their are Republicans, the corrupt pieces of shit, running the show.

Essential lesson in all of this is that Trump is far more Mussolini than anyone else he’s been compared to. He wants to be a big man. He wants to be tyrannical. Resistance is met with eventual capitulation. He’s nothing. His administration is full of yes-men and people in the Epstein files, so they’re not brilliant strategists either. These people can and will be defeated.

*Do not stop resisting the regime*

  17. You mean “the exercise is over.” They gathered all the operation’s data and metrics and are now analyzing it so they can perfect the next operation. This isn’t over. There will be a next “Minnesota.”

    ICE has to be dismantled.

  18. We have a better chance of abolishing ICE than holding filthy rich pedophiles accountable. They have, and will do anything to hold onto their power & wealth.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Also just goes they’re drawing down in Minnesota doesn’t mean they won’t surge somewhere else.

  20. Tom Homan is full of shit, the operation is being wound down because it failed. It’s whole mission was to make the Trump administration look strong and invincible, instead it has made them look cruel and weak.

They were always going to move on to the next blue city at some point

I want accountability for what happened in Minnesota.

  22. When you see a fellow republican, just know that they like what ice is doing, just not in public. Don’t let up.

  23. They know this was unpopular and need time to bury the memory of this in the public psyche before the midterms.

Mark my words, they’ll be back out brutalizing some other city after November.
