Republicans smeared her badly because she was uppity and didn’t know her place. She tried to warn us in speeches on the Senate floor (twice) about the subprime mortgage crisis about to happen. She was ignored. She left the SoS office with a 68% approval rating. As presidential candidate she had 47 very detailed progressive White Papers on her proposed agenda but she was “the lesser of two evils”. Media (mainstream, social and otherwise) suck.

HRC was actually pretty well-liked when Bill was in office. Some people even saw her as the primary victim in the Lewinsky scandal. (People were NOT nice to about Monica back then. I’m glad public opinion has since exonerated her.) Hillary is disliked because of the same “overseas” negative propaganda campaign that somehow redeemed Trump.
