In the last week, we’ve seen two instances of how semi-functional countries handle serious shit.
Andrew Windsor should be held to account for his involvement, and the UK has (so far) met the moment.
… and South Korea just sentenced the leader of an attempted political coup to life in prison, which is a crime that could have gotten him the death penalty.
Meanwhile… Trump made an ass of himself (again) at his inaugural Legion of Doom meeting.
Well it’s more than shameful. It’s a full blown cover-up by Trump’s DOJ.
You know. How is it that a DOJ that says “nothing to see here” gets a royal prince arrested, first to happen in 4 centuries.
And Republicans STILL have nothing to say about this.

The difference is that, for all its faults, the UK is still a democracy under the rule of law. The US is not, it is now a fascist state.
It was a “body shop” for the Rich people. Daddy beat up Joey. The son. The family doesn’t want it to leave the room. Think of the publicity. But Joey needs to go to the hospital and so they call Jeffrey Epstein. He’s the fixer. He had the islands with the “body shop.” The rest of the players are just negotiating the deal. It was just an accident, daddy really didn’t mean to break Joey’s skull.
