Old enough to remember them saying this exact same thing about Beto.

Texas hasn’t elected a Dem to Senate since 1988. Talarico might actually break that curse. Dude’s got momentum.

I’m not sure what conclusions we should draw from the rightwing Telegraph writing nice things about Talarico.

Republicans tried to block his Colbert interview and it backfired hard. Now everyone knows who he is lol.

Would have loved to see us be able to get both of these figures at the national stage. It sucks having to choose one. I wish Talarico would have ran against Abbott instead. The. Dems could have gone full support behind Crockett for Senate. Although, I don’t trust Texas to put down the racism to elect a strong black woman over POS Cornyn/Paxton.
This situation just sucks. We need every senate seat possible to fix this country.

Maybe, but he’s got no separation of church and state .

He is only a star if he wins. He should remain competitive as long as he doesn’t talk about guns.

Gotta love the Streisand Effect.

Uvalde voted for Abbott. I’ll believe it when I see it. Shock me Texas, I dare you.

A White Christian Male who isn’t an ultra-conservative, hates Christian Nationalism, and strongly supports separation of church and state? He’s a freaking Unicorn, man…

When he used the not side to side but top to bottom line, I started jumping up and down. YES. Finally one of the suited goons gets it!

Yup, I already voted for him in the primaries.

He’s young and charismatic, like Kirk was. The big difference- he speaks like a true, loving, decent Christian and cares about everyone, regardless of wealth, gender, race, etc. The repubs are quite scared of him.

I’ll be interested to see what happens because it seems that the progressives are saying that he’s a better candidate because he’s a white Christian male and that Crockett is unviable because she’s a loud outspoken black woman
So if he ends up softening his support among the most consistent voting group for Democrats black people especially black women for the White Christian vote Will he still be able to win I’ve heard strategists think that he can get Latino votes too so if he wins I hope he’s able to because the progressives seem to think they don’t need the black vote anymore
Not because they won’t choose Crockett but because the amount of disrespect that they’re showing to the very idea that she should even be in the race

Proudly voted for him on Wednesday!

I’m skeptical about this guy. He’s running really disgusting negative attack ads against Jasmine Crockett. The overly religious veneer he has on is creepy and I just don’t buy it. Like he’s a republican running as a spoiler candidate against Crockett who is the real deal. No bueno.

Well, they sure are giving him a lot of free advertising.

Yeah but he’s a rising star…in Texas. Look at how many times they’ve re-elected Ted Cruz and you should know he’s got a lot to rise through.
