One would think that after such a statement, alarm bells would start ringing for all remaining T. supporters, but that will probably not be the case.

  2. And republicans and their constituents are letting him get away with it. They bum rushed the Capitol when Biden won but now it’s crickets. All the people that ran out and bought extra guns when Obama was president are fine with this I guess.

  3. To “faithfully execute the Office of President” and “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution” are just too complicated words for him to understand?! Well, duh, I know he is way too arrogant to even assume the oath comes with obligations. For him it’s just lines in a script for a show.

Can?? What the hell has he been doing for the last year, other than destroying the country?

He’s doing a damn good job of destroying it right now.. I can’t wait till he just doesn’t wake up..

  6. A more apt translation: “I can commit treason.” which he has pretty much already proven with J6.

  7. Is this copying Machiavelli’s – better for people to be scared of you than love you, to keep control?

  8. Americans need to remember it’s the REPUBLICAN PARTY who continues to enable this child who wants to destroy everything for being told no.

  9. You’d think this would be 25th amendment worthy, but we’re so far gone that we’re not even hurdling towards the cliffs edge, we’re well beyond the cliffs edge and just bracing for impact at this point.

Any president who publicly rants about his ability destroy trade and destroy the nation should be immediately impeached and removed from office, or removed via the 25th Amendment. He’s openly declaring that he’s allowed to destroy the country.

  11. In fairness to the historically, economically, constitutionally, and I suspect generally, illiterate ignoramus infesting the Oval Office, if you read Trump’s entire tantrum, it seems he meant destroying other countries.

On that note, however, the abject failure of his tariff idiocy would indicate that while Trump might have the power to do so (in his “mind”,) he appears to lack the competency to get the job done.
