  1. From the article:

Vice President JD Vance and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz announced on Wednesday the Trump administration will halt certain Medicaid funds to Minnesota as a part of the effort to crack down on fraud in the state.

“We have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that are going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligation seriously to be good stewards of the American people’s tax money,” Vance said alongside Oz.

As a part of the move, $259.5 million in Medicaid funds for Minnesota will not be reimbursed as the administration investigates alleged fraud in the state. Fourteen programs, including autism care and non-medical transports are among the programs viewed as having a high risk of fraud.

    >“This is not a problem with the people of Minnesota. It’s a problem with the leadership of Minnesota and other states who do not take Medicaid preservation seriously,” Oz said.

    >“Any delay in services is going to be, should be laid at the at the seat of Governor Walz. I believe he will take this seriously,” he continued.

It’s not my fault I’m beating you.

  3. I am sure that Minnesota has lawyers, and at least one judge who can recognize political retribution when it slaps him in the face.

  4. Trump is thin skinned enough that this probably has to do with the hockey players that declined attending his propaganda speech

So initially it was an issue about childcare fraud in Minnesota that they claimed, so because of that they are stopping an unrelated system, Medicade?

It’s just all bullshit on bullshit I take it.

Haven’t they run on for years how they don’t wanna take Medicare away that’s the one thing they don’t do….. sike!!!!

  7. In that case, I propose we suspend all taxpayer funded healthcare for government officials pending a fraud investigation as well.

  8. Punish disabled people and senior citizens to prove a political point before the midterm elections. Sounds like the double down strategy we have normalized.

  9. A lot of poor children and elderly folks will die from this. Any child with diabetes is fucked. Utterly outrageous.

  10. Again, just turning a blind eye to Florida not to mention people who committed medicare or medicaid fraud and Trump pardoned (Esformes, Negron, Duran, Melgen, wellcare executives).

From the party that brought you 100B in Medicaid cuts to line the pockets of billionaire donors

  12. Friendly reminder Senator and former Governor of Florida Rick Scott was CEO of the healthcare company that was convicted of the largest Medicare fraud in history. Today they go by the name HCA
