I’m not altogether convinced the GOP is happy about this. Whatever dirt they dig on Bill will be dearly bought. Both Clintons are very mentally agile. Hillary in particular has a mind like a steel trap, performs superbly in such high-pressure environments, and may well not have that much to lose (this is probably not quite true of her husband, but he seems ready to take the risk).
