1) Having internally consistent beliefs, or a reason why they have changed, is no longer expected
2) Solar is so much better it will win regardless of politics. At some point that becomes apparent.
This is just embarrassing. MAGA is like the worst coworker or boss you have – they cannot be convinced anything is a good idea until they’re convinced it’s THEIR idea, and they will drag everyone around them through absolute misery before they finally figure it out. Pretty standard MO for the “conservatives.” Vocally against something until it directly affects them. Now that power bills are spiking due to tech bros insatiable demand for power to run their AI data centers now the average joe is footing the cost for all that extra demand. So naturally they want alternative means of cheaper power.
