Hoping that the stress of the impeachment will be the last stroke of Trump’s presidency.

His impeachment conviction odds are zero and will remain zero for the remainder of his term.

Unfortunately, the “Woah, this is worthless!” meme works on multiple levels here.

  4. It’s nice to daydream about it, but IMO it’s **not** worth all that much discussion unless a nice, blue tsunami grabs 60+ democratic senate seats.

And all this Polymarket type betting is just … weird, kind of creepy, perhaps even stupid.

Whole system rotten, unfortunately it does not get fixed by ousting Trump. Thiel and Miller are actually in charge and still will be under Vance.

Susan Collins already told us she thinks Trump learned his lesson now and doesnt need to be impeached.

He won’t get impeached again, because he will steal the mid-term elections. Republicans will win the mid-terms with margins that look like Russia….

  7. The republicans including Fetterman will never impeach trump, there have been several incidents that were already impeachable this term and they goosestep right along with him and make up excuses for him

  8. Not while every republican and most democrats are big B’s with little P’s.

  9. Even if we successfully impeach, don’t really see him moving on, Trump will likely get the Proud Boys and Oath-keepers, I mean ICE to guard him. All in the name of God and America

Vegas just does this to get people betting, they do it with sports all of the time

He’s been Impeached twice, it means nothing, he will not be removed. I would be surprised if Democrats get the 60 seats needed to remove him in 2026 and shocked if Schumer has the stomach to do it if they do.

  12. This is the plan. He’ll get removed 2 years in, Vance assumes direct control. Thiel and technocrat pals control elections, goodbye voting, hello supreme leader beep boop.

  13. Told my wife last night that, for the first time, I thought it was more likely than not he’s impeached *and* removed. After the midterms, of course. Fingers crossed.

As has been said many, many times. You may be able to impeach, but you’ll never have the votes to remove him.

  15. He’s already been impeached twice, he may as well go for the hat trick..

The process is meaningless if there are no consequences. Your political system is broken AF.

There’s a zero % chance of Trump being impeached, 25th Amendmented or even publicly declared dead if he happens to die, before January 21st of next year.

That’s the day Peter Thiel knows JD Vance can legally be President for 10 years, giving them a whole decade to slowly roll out authoritarianism without attracting the kind of attention Trumps incompetent handling of everything brings.

But Jan 21nd of next year? Trump probably doesn’t want to be standing near any windows, of stairs, or under a chandelier, or near anything marble he could hit in a fall, etc…..

Impeached? Likely. Removed and convicted? I have better luck winning the grand prize at the casino.

God I hate Kalshi and Polymarket – I think they’re degenerate to the highest degree.

  19. Elect Democrats this November. The Republicans will make it very hard to vote, but work to get it done.

Republicans know if they lose control of Congress (an equal branch of government to the presidency) they will have their crimes invested and exposed. Then impeachment or jail for criminals will happen.

Noem just admitted to corruption. There is lots more. The government is full of Republican criminals.

I feel like after reading this thread I need to do a constant PSA about what impeachment actually is.
Impeachment is not removal from office. It’s the start of the removal process. Think of it more like an indictment in criminal law.

The House impeaches (charges), and then the Senate holds the trial to decide whether the person is actually removed from office.

I teach government, and I hammer this distinction home every year, and even my students still struggle with it.

  21. Save everyone’s time and just let us know when something is actually happening instead of the possibility of things happening.

odds of sun exploding is also at an all time high, every day the % rises. technically

  23. defiant-raven on

The senate sided with the war, no way they’ll vote to kick him out of office.

Trump will, again, say it’s a witch hunt and brag about how he’s the most impeached president in the history of America.

In conclusion, who the fuck cares.

  24. Congress republicans will have to impeach him or lose their career. He’s an albatross made out of flaming turds.
